Forklift Driver Counterbalance We have an opportunity available for a Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) with one of our well established clients in Burton on Trent, Derbyshire.The forklift position will be on an ongoing basis, with the view to a permanent position at the end for the right candidate. Hours: You will be required to work between the hour of Monday to Friday - 09:00 - 18:00 Details of the Forklift Driver role: The successful applicant will be responsible for the loading and unloading of the HGV's in the yard. The client deals with the manafacturing and distribution of steel stock around the country. Due to this, you will also have to have a good understanding of Health and Safety surrounding the FLT and manoeuvring. The work will involve steel sheeting and so you must be confident and competent at working with heavy loads and the distribution of weight across the forks. There will also be general duties that will require you to help out with as and when they arise. For example, stock rotation, dropping stock for picking etc. The Applicant will require: Experience of working within the warehouse environment.A valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
