He has an older sister who he loves to be around. Harry is very sociable and smart; he loves being in the middle of the action! Harry has Cerebral Palsy which affects all four limbs, he is unable to communicate verbally but points, and gestures and has some vocalisations. Harry will be encouraged to start getting ready for bed when you begin your shift, around 7.00 pm; with teeth brushed, personal care carried out, story read and positioned in bed. He likes to have a teddy which is being introduced to help him move him away from sleeping with Mum. Harry loves playing on his Nintendo and iPad, watching Disney films, going for walks, and taking day trips out to the Cinema, Museums and Chessington World of Adventure. Harry is on the Autistic spectrum, and he also has anxiety, he needs support with his independence, communication, social and functional skills. He is quite independent already, and mostly needs verbal prompting and some encouragement to complete his daily living tasks. Flexibility around days worked to accommodate studies or other commitments.Who is recruiting for this role?
