The route will be assigned to a maximum of 9 calculated hours which includes the travel time from collection point to first delivery destination, each delivery location thereafter, including the time required to travel between. New drivers will have smaller routes assigned for the first 2 weeks before they are assigned what is known as a ‘full route’. These smaller routes are designed to allow you more time to get to know the system, delivery methods and overall familiarity with the role.**We are delivering parcels every single day. However, a driver is not allowed to provide services more than 6 days in a row. We must adhere to health & safety regulations, especially when operating a moving vehicle.**You need to operate a short wheel-based van with minimum of 5 cubic meters capacity.**The on-boarding process:**1. Contact us regarding your interest in our position.**2. If you are interested, we need to book an appointment for drug and alcohol test for date & time convenient for you.**3. Once you pass the drug and alcohol test you will need to pass DBS criminal background check. This is a basic check that takes between 24-72 hours on average.**4. When the background check is passed, you will be invited for training.**5.
