The job entails carrying out a variety of factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure production is maintained to the highest level. The role of Production Operative is wide-ranging and offers a great deal of variety with full training - you will be trained to operate the line (packing or process) complete daily routines, perform checks and report defects. The working hours for the role are 4 on 4 off days and nights. 12-hour shifts 6-6. This means you will work 4 dayshifts (6am-6pm), 4 days off and then 4 nightshifts (6pm-6am). Food Production Operative Our client based in Hereford is looking for operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves working as a Food Production Operative in a fast-paced chilled environment, ensuring hygiene standards in short-life shelf products. Duties include weighing, assembling, packing, labelling, and grading products, as well as manual handling, including lifting equipment up to 20kg. Candidates should have basic English and numeracy skills, work well within a team, have attention to detail, and be flexible. Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is not essential, as full training for the Food Production Operative role will be provided.
