These walks are a great opportunity to build rapport with Harry, and this will be key to establishing a trusting and engaging relationship. Once home, Harry requires support and encouragement to complete his homework. Then, it’s dinner and relaxing. Harry likes to relax with his iPad. Then, encouraging Harry to complete his evening routine. During school holidays, Harry’s Support Worker will be proactive in finding and arranging activities and day trips for Harry, based around his current interests, and expanding on his interests by finding new things to do too. Harry’s brother will also be at home during these times, and there will be occasions where you will involve him in activities, alongside his Support Workers, so being happy to work in a team is important.
